Betgames’ Lucky 5 is a lottery-based game that involves placing bets on the outcome of a process of dropping of 5 balls from a pool of 36. The balls are numbered from 1 to 36 with different sets of colours, and to win, one has to make correct predictions on the number, colour or other combinations. Lucky 5 makes a combination of the principles of Lottery with additional bet options of better value and better chance of winning. A new game is available every 5 minutes, so this gives players an incredible opportunity to have fun at short intervals. How to play Lucky 5

As with the Lottery, one of the popular markets is that of placing bets on the ball number itself. One can bet a particular single number to be drawn at odds of 6.70, or for more non risk averse customers, there is an option to bet on two or three numbers to be drawn at odds of 40 and 400 respectively. Of course, with these high odds, low stakes would be recommended as the chances of winning are low.

Betting on Colours

The balls have 4 colours – white, green, red and blue. The player can place bets on the various ball colour outcomes, including bets on number of balls of a certain colour type to, or not to be dropped. Other options include the counts (number) of bets to be over or under 1.5 and 2.5 each. There appears to be better value odds on markets of under 1.5 count and exactly 1 not being dropped for each colour, with odds of 1.45 and 1.60 respectively. There are also other bets on a combination of different ball colour combinations. With proper bankroll, there is a possibility to make profit on these markets.

Betgames Lucky 5 Tips

In order to make headway towards long term success, there needs to be proper bankroll management. The odds for most available markets are high, and it is best to stake low on these, and at most 0.5 % bankroll is the best. It is also important to use consistent stakes, and not to lump when on a winning streak in order to recover losses.

There are 36 balls in total. 9 white, 9 green, 9 red and 9 ball. Each ball is assigned a number and a colour. See below which numbers are which.

Lucky 5 Betting Examples

Selected ball will be dropped with No. 1 to 36 (PICK 1 NUMBER)

Pick one number to be drawn in the Lucky 5 draw. It can be any one of the five numbers that are drawn.
Odds are shown as 6.80 (same as 58/10 or 5.8 in RSA).
If you bet R10:
R10 x 6.80 = R68
Total Returned = R68
Two selected balls will be dropped with No. 1 to 36 (PICK 2 NUMBERS)
Pick two numbers to be drawn in the Lucky 5 draw. Both numbers you pick, must feature in the five numbers that are drawn. If only one number features, and the other does not, it is a losing bet.
Odds are shown as 50.00 (same as 49/1 or 49.0 in RSA).
If you bet R10:
R10 x 50.00 = R500
Total Returned = R500
 
Three selected numbers will be dropped with No. 1 to 36 (PICK 3 NUMBERS)
Pick three numbers to be drawn in the Lucky 5 draw. All three numbers you pick, must feature in the five numbers that are drawn. If only one or two numbers features, and the others do not, it is a losing bet.
Odds are shown as 500.00 (same as 499/1 or 499.0 in RSA).
If you bet R10:
R10 x 500 = R5000
Total Returned = R5000 
 
SUM of the dropped balls’ numbers shall be MORE than 92.5
Bet on the total sum of the five numbers drawn in the Lucky 5 to be MORE than 92.5. Here you are betting on all five numbers drawn, when added together, to be more than 92.5
Odds are shown as 1.90 (same as 9/10 or 0.9 in RSA).
If you bet R10:
R10 x 1.9 = R19.00
Total Returned = R19.00
SUM of the dropped balls’ numbers shall be LESS than 92.5
Bet on the total sum of the five numbers drawn in the Lucky 5 to be LESS than 92.5. Here you are betting on all five numbers drawn, when added together, to be less than 92.5
Odds are shown as 1.90 (same as 9/10 or 0.9 in RSA).
If you bet R10:
R10 x 1.9 = R19.00
Total Returned = R19.00
BLUE ball will not be dropped
Bet on a BLUE ball to NOT be in the five balls drawn in the Lucky 5.  There are 36 balls in the draw, consisting of 9 Blue, 9 Red, 9 Green and 9 White. You are betting that not one of the blue balls will feature in the Lucky 5.
Odds are shown as 4.40 or (same as 34/10 or 3.4 in RSA).
If you bet R10:
R10 x 4.4 = R44.00
Total Returned = R44.00
 
GREEN ball will not be dropped
Bet on a GREEN ball to NOT be in the five balls drawn in the Lucky 5.  There are 36 balls in the draw, consisting of 9 Blue, 9 Red, 9 Green and 9 White. You are betting that not one of the green balls will feature in the Lucky 5.
Odds are shown as 4.40 or (same as 34/10 or 3.4 in RSA).
If you bet R10:
R10 x 4.4 = R44.00
Total Returned = R44.00
 
WHITE ball will not be dropped
Bet on a WHITE ball to NOT be in the five balls drawn in the Lucky 5.  There are 36 balls in the draw, consisting of 9 Blue, 9 Red, 9 Green and 9 White. You are betting that not one of the white balls will feature in the Lucky 5.
Odds are shown as 4.40 or (same as 34/10 or 3.4 in RSA).
If you bet R10:
R10 x 4.4 = R44.00

More ODD numbered balls will be dropped
Bet on there being more ODD numbered balls of the five balls drawn for the Lucky 5. There are 18 odd and 18 even numbered balls. If there are 3 or more odd numbered balls in the five drawn, then this bet is a winner.

If you bet R10:

More EVEN numbered balls will be dropped
