The Martingale online roulette strategy

Perhaps you didn’t know the name of this strategy but many players have at some point or another used the Martingale if they had a betting strategy a place.

The main aim of the Martingale is to double your bet after each loss. If you lose your first bet, say a €5 bet, then you would place a €10 bet next. When you do make a successful bet, you will instantly recover all your losses and also make a small profit.

The Labouchere online roulette strategy

This betting strategy works as follows: You pick a row of numbers and each number would represent a betting unit. You then proceed to add the first and last number which would amount to a specific number of units.

With every loss, you add a bet to the end of the line. It is very similar to the Martingale betting system which is why it’s very popular with many roulette players.

The D’Alembert online roulette strategy

Also known as the Gambler’s Fallacy, the D’Alembert strategy states that if a specific number turns up a lot in say, 100 spins, then the number is likely to stop turning up as the universe is likely to want the other numbers to catch up. We are baffled about this one as well.

The Fibonacci online roulette strategy

This number betting system is based on a sequence as follows: 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55, 89, 144, and so on and so forth. If you pay attention to the pattern, you’ll soon realise that the numbers are a combination of the two that came prior.

So, here’s how it works in online gambling. Say you bet €10. If you lose this bet, you place another €10 bet. If you also lose that one, you bet €10 + €10.  You keep upping the bets if you keep losing.

The Paroli online roulette strategy

Many online casino players have used this strategy at some point or another. The Paroli is a betting system that increases your bet as you win. If you win a €10 bet, then your next bet should be €20. If you also win that bet, then your next one should be €40.

You can stop increasing your bet at any point or else increase it by smaller increments.

The Grand Martingale online roulette strategy

This online roulette strategy is based on the Martingale. Here, however, you don’t increase your bet by doubling after a loss. Instead, you triple your bet after a loss. You need to have a massive bankroll to use this system.

The European roulette online strategy

This isn’t as such a betting strategy, but it’s always wise to play European roulette instead of American roulette since the European version has a lower house edge.

Also on the even-money bets of odd/even, red/black and high/low, some online casinos will only take half your bet should the ball land on 0 or 00. If the only casino returns some of your bet, the house edge is then reduced by half.
